Introduction of Shredder Machine
The shaft type shredder is the machine able to effectively shred types of waste such as plastic materials, paper, cardboard, wood, packaging, cans, tires, and so on. It is versatile and adapts to various waste with low energy consumption and low noise. We offer two kinds of shredders for recycling large solid waste: a double-shaft shredder and a four-shaft shredder. There are various models of each kind and you can choose the most suitable one based on your specific requirements!

I. Double-Shaft Shredder-AMS21 Series
AMS21 series double shaft shredder can cut and grind material by means of blades on shafts that rotate slowly in opposite directions. Once the material is in the hopper, the shredder catches it and begins to cut it grossly. Our double shaft shredder adopts automatic control by microcomputer (PC) and is equipped with functions of start, stop, reverse and overload automatic reverse. Characterized by big torque in low speed, low noise, strong crushing capacity, high output, and optional blade sizes, it is favored by many small and medium industries for crushing solid materials like hard discs, small engineering plastics, and home appliances, and toe gum, etc.

Materials can be shredded by a double shaft shredder
1. Plastic materials: mixed plastics, toe gum, plastic buckets & containers and etc.
2. Metal materials: lead, aluminum & copper plate, steel drums and etc.
3. Other materials: computer hard drive, waste household appliances, motor car tires, wooden pallets, packaging materials, cardboard and etc.

II. Four-Shaft Shredder
A four-shaft shredder is a heavy-duty machine. It has advantages in standardization and modularization design, and high interchangeability for its components. Its blades are made of special alloy steel with high strength, strong antiwear and reparability. The drive part takes advantage of heavy planet gearboxes to make main shafts rotate at different speeds. Moreover, the four-shaft shredder is equipped with a screen which leads to consistent output size. The material is powerfully torn and shredded by the cuttings blades, then pressed through the cut grooves and finally discharged through a screen. With outstanding spotlights, the four-shaft shredder wins popularity in the shredding process in the recycling industry. It fits for shredding large and hard objects such as car bodies, solid industrial waste, medical waste, e-waste and etc. There are two series of four-shaft shredders offered by us: AMS80 series four-shaft shredder and AMS100 series four-shaft shredder.

Four-shaft shredder suitable for crushing the following materials:
1. Bucket products: plastic bucket, metal drum, paint bucket, intermediate -bulk container (IBC) and dustbin
2. Wastes: household waste, medical waste, kitchen waste, industrial waste, park waste
3. Plastic products: plastic bottles, plastic frames, plastic blocks, plastic can
4. Metal products: aluminum profile, oil filter, car shell, pop-top can, metal can
5. Paper: newspaper, card paper, corrugated paper, copy paper
6. Electronic appliances: refrigerator, circuit board, laptop shell, TV set shell, CD disk
7. Glass products: glass cotton, glass and glass bottles

III. Difference between two kinds of shaft type shredder
1. The double-shaft shredder is characterized by two shafts that rotate toward each other. It is often used as the first machine in different lines for waste processing-shredding of waste before its fine shredding or grinding.
2. Four-shaft shredder obviously has four shafts. Adding another two shafts to the shredder is to increase a second crushing for the waste. Waste shredding is performed in two places: firstly, primary shredding between the main shredding shafts and secondly, further shredding of pieces that did not fall through the screen and which keep being raised back to the working space. Four-shaft shredder is designed for shredding various kinds of waste to secure the requested output size.

Notes:
1. Standard Rotor-knives thickness is 20mm, optional 15mm, and it is also available to choose the blade size according to the pellet after shredding.
2. Rotor-knives is the single blade body by default. For double blade body or multi-blade, please confirm with our sales. Harder blade for single blade body compared to double a multi-blade, but double and multi-blade enjoy the higher efficiency.
